Our Journey

2012

Started as a two-person operation in a cramped office downtown. Margaret had just left BigLaw, and David was tired of seeing clients lose cases because lawyers couldn't move fast enough.

2015

Won our first major emergency injunction case - stopped a hostile takeover with just 48 hours notice. That case put us on the map.

2018

Expanded to 12 attorneys. Launched our 24/7 crisis response team after realizing legal emergencies don't care about business hours.

2021

Moved to Bay Street. Added immigration defense to our practice after helping a colleague's friend avoid wrongful deportation.

2023

Hit 500 emergency cases resolved. Built dedicated crisis war room with tech that lets us mobilize in minutes, not hours.

2025

Today we're 18 attorneys strong, handling everything from midnight restraining orders to corporate crises that hit at 3am.

Why We Do What We Do

Look, the legal system moves slowly by design. That's fine when you've got time on your side. But when you're facing an emergency injunction deadline, a deportation order, or your business is about to implode? Slow justice is no justice at all.

We founded FlameReach Chronos because we kept seeing good people and solid businesses get crushed not because they didn't have a case, but because their lawyers couldn't pivot fast enough. Traditional firms are built for marathons. We're built for sprints - though we can run the long race too when needed.

James is our contract guy who actually reads the fine print at record speed. When a supplier backs out hours before a critical delivery or a partnership agreement falls apart overnight, he's already three steps ahead figuring out angles other lawyers would take weeks to spot. He's saved more business deals than he's killed, which says something. Also runs our fast-track litigation practice for cases that need to move through courts at double speed.
